“So I also will choose harsh treatment for them and will bring on them what they dread. For when I called, no one answered, when I spoke, no one listened. They did evil in my sight and chose what displeases me.”

Sin has consequences. Rejection of God has consequences. Repentance and accepting Christ into our lives is how we can turn to God. After we receive Jesus into our hearts, we live a holy and godly life unto God. When we live reverentially for Christ, we will be with Him in heaven at His coming or when our time on earth is over.
