It is right to blame the devil for EVERY bad thing that has happened to any human being. The demons have confessed this themselves so are we going to take away the bad from them? Yes people leave open doors through sin, disobedience to God, rebellion and generational curses/evil choices of our ancestors. Those doors give access to the wicked one. He capitalized on your carnal and weak choice and your lack of reverence and trust for God. 
So note that bad things don’t just happen randomly, there’s a behind-the-scenes force called kingdom of darkness. They are now confessing more than ever before in deliverance services all their atrocities - from quarrels between husband and wife or any two people to car accidents, child trafficking whatever! It’s the End times, knowledge will increase. Information is being amplified from all fronts including the supernatural. God is trying to help us through there confessions. They typically would love people to be ignorant because knowledge and truth are powerful. They would rather keep their secrets so you don’t know how to fight and overpower them. We need to be in the secret place of the Most High and ABIDE under His shadow. We need to live Holy & Godly. We need to HATE sin & walk in LOVE.
