God’s not happy or rejoicing that your marriage is unhappy. But He may need you to stay there to learn to love your enemy; to learn to persevere (develop endurance); to learn humility; to learn to be slow to speak; to learn to trust Him to fight your battles; to learn to love unconditionally; to learn to fight on your knees and many other spiritual & character lessons for what He may have a great task lined up for your future. God can choose to use your unfortunate, miserable & uncomfortable situation as a training ground for you. Lemonade comes from squeezing lemons. Therefore discover what God wants you to do in your adverse situation and stay with the Lord. Your obedience and perseverance will produce rewarding results. However if it’s an issue of safety, you should prayerfully remove yourself from the situation and seek God’s face for further direction. Being killed or physically hurt in a marriage is absolutely not in God’s will.
